Govt has slapped
PSA on a 15-year-old for
“being threat to the security and
...sovereignty of the State.”
Just 15 days after finishing his
10th examination,Towseef Hussain
Bhat S/O Ghulam Muhammad Bhat
of Baba Mohalla was
arrested in Dec 2010 by
Shopian police on charges of stone
pelting.
Towseef is a student of Mohammadiya
Institution.
According to the order,he was detained for
“hijacking the sentiments of the
locals and exploiting the youth for
instigating violence.”
“You are instrumental in challenging
the sovereignty and integrity of the
State and have links with anti-
national elements,” the order reads.
MINOR RELEASED:
Meanwhile, another minor Basharat
Yaqoob Beigh S/O Mohd.
Yaqoob has been
released from Kathua Jail,
an 8Th
class student of SHM
I Shopian, was
booked under PSA.
He was released after state
Govt revoked his PSA.
